Subject Area: Examination Administration
Role Purpose: Supervision of examination processes and candidates in accordance with JCQ regulations
Regulatory Framework: Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) Instructions for Conducting Examinations
Key Responsibilities: Examination room supervision, candidate management, distribution and collection of examination materials, compliance monitoring, reporting irregularities
Additional Duties: Safeguarding support, adherence to college policies, participation in staff meetings, completion of assigned duties from line manager
Required Qualifications: GCSE grade C or higher (or equivalent) in Maths and English
Training Requirement: Willingness to undertake relevant training
Experience: Understanding of confidentiality; previous exam invigilation experience in an FE college (desirable)
Core Skills: Written and verbal communication, organisation, time management
Personal Attributes: Reliability, punctuality, tact, attention to detail, ability to remain calm under pressure, teamwork and independent working ability
