Students should understand and solve problems related to morbid hypersensitivity, including the causes, diagnosis, and treatment of allergies, with particular emphasis on dental allergens and medications.
Prerequisite / essential requirements:
Knowledge of basic medical concepts such as stimulus, reaction, hypersensitivity, and allergy. Skills in medical procedures such as medical history, physical examination, and diagnostic programs. Competence in patient care and medical ethics.
Learning outcomes:
The student is expected to know the genetic, environmental, and epidemiological predispositions to diseases and understand diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for common allergic diseases.
