Title:
Why Our Future Depends on Libraries, Reading and Daydreaming, by Rut Blomqvist is a critical essay defining the deeper personal meaning or myth in American Gods. He opens up discussions for several different topics that differ depending on the person. This source was hard to find because I used a database. I believed to be credible because of its publisher, Cengage Learning, that is very well known.

An Exegesis of American Gods." Article: , by Bryan A. Hollerbach. N.p., 15 Oct. 2001. Web. 30 Nov. 2015.
This article, Diving Neil Gaiman:
An Exegesis of American Gods, by Bryan Hollerbach, analyzes the novel by examining two different reactions: the secularist reaction and fundamental reaction. He highlights Gaiman’s career background, story plot and presents examples of different views of this book. I found it interesting that Hollerbach highlights Gaiman’s diversity, which I would have never thought of without this article. I chose this source for one because Hollerbach was noted to be a successful editor so at least he knows what he is doing. Secondly, I like the different view points this article suggests, and the unity between them. If I could ask Hollerbach a question, I would ask what scenario is he?
