The Senior Support Organiser will provide professional and practice guidance to Support Organisers within the Supporting Independence Team. Supporting the delivery of the Active Recovery Service with constant competing demands, this service is facilitated 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, undertaking staff supervision and development, contributing to the management of the Teams operational functions and strategic directions.The post holder is required to provide leadership for good practice. The Senior Support Organiser is responsible for budgetary authorisation on Liquid Logic to a specified budgetary amount. The Support Organiser supports the Assistant Manager in directing operational functions within the team, collating statistics for performance monitoring and takes direction from the Assistant Manager to ensure the implementation of quality assurance practises.The Post Holder will assist in the management of a Multi- Disciplinary Team to ensure staff understand and engage with Adult Social Care values, vision, and strategy. To work with staff to support people to have a life not a service and to safeguard them from harm.The Post holder will make a difference by working with people in complex situations and supporting and developing staff’s knowledge which will contribute to providing better outcomes for supporting people to maintain their independence in their own home.To understand and support the development of solution focused conversations, active listening techniques, legal literacy, system wide awareness. To work with Assistant Manager and Registered Manager to contribute to the development of staff through in house training and mandatory training. The Post holder is required to deputise in the absence of the Assistant Manager.To fully understand the pathways, which incorporate the assessment process and interventions in their own right. To promote joint and trusted assessments into the service motivating staff to recommend creative and innovative approaches to ensure that people are fully participating and in control of their goals and aspirations.The Post Holder will be key in working in partnership with other agencies ensuring services are delivered in accordance with Care Quality Commission requirements and support National Strategic Frameworks, local objectives for performance and BCF requirements.
