Working Hours: 35 hours per week
Reporting To: Line Manager
Governance and Oversight: Circuit Leadership Team; Circuit Meeting
Key Working Relationships: Ministers, lay employees and volunteers across the Circuit and its churches
Community Stakeholders: Local schools, voluntary and community organizations, families
Primary Ministry Focus: Youth ministry development and coordination
Target Age Group: Young people from Year 6 and above, including secondary school age
Core Responsibilities: Youth strategy development, pastoral support, youth worship planning, community engagement, volunteer coordination
Compliance Requirements: Safeguarding policies, health and safety regulations, GDPR, statutory and legal requirements
Budget Responsibility: Youth ministry budget management in consultation with the Circuit Treasurer
Leave Entitlement: 25 days annual leave including statutory public holidays
Pension Provision: Contribution to a personal pension
Pre-Employment Requirement: Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
Probation Period: Six months
Additional Support: Spiritual mentor and opportunity to attend retreat days
