A composition course emphasizing writing as academic discourse, with attention to academic argumentation and expectations for research, structure, and style. Course assignments emphasize intensive research and disciplinary conventions, as well as professional and digital communication.

Feedback on work will be provided in writing and through individual conferences. Midterm and final grades will be assigned by the professor but students will be responsible for helping to determine and assign their grade based on their understanding of learning and efforts this semester.
