Purpose of Role:
Provide high-quality confidential research and analysis across legislative and policy areas for Members of the Senedd
Main Responsibilities:
Research, policy analysis, briefing preparation, speech drafting, parliamentary questions preparation, constituency casework support, stakeholder liaison, project leadership
Essential Qualifications:
Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject; NVQ Level 4 or equivalent
Essential Experience:
Parliamentary or similar research environment; working with high-profile stakeholders
Key Skills:
Analytical ability, rapid synthesis of complex information, ICT proficiency (Word and Excel), organisational and collaboration skills
Knowledge Requirements:
Legislative and policy analysis, understanding of equality of opportunity and the Nolan Principles of Public Life
Desirable Knowledge:
Awareness of Welsh current affairs and the Welsh political system
Language Requirement:
Ability to work in Welsh and English (desirable)
Political Affiliation Preference:
