On February 27th, 2024, the Oversight Board overturned Meta’s decisions to remove two Facebook posts sharing a news article about the conviction and sentencing of a leader of the far-right extremist group the Proud Boys. The Board stressed that the cases at hand show difficulties of enforcement of the exceptions in Meta’s Dangerous Organizations and Individuals policy.
