Main Purpose: Assessment, implementation and maintenance of epidemiological surveillance and monitoring systems in MSF outbreak and emergency programmes
Key Responsibilities: Outbreak investigation, epidemiological surveillance, health assessments and surveys, protocol development, data management and analysis, reporting, and training of medical teams
Supervision Responsibilities: Planning and supervising HR processes for staff under responsibility
Education Requirement: Medical doctor (preferable), nurse or biomedical background with a degree in epidemiology
Experience Requirement: Several years of tropical medicine experience and field epidemiology experience
Technical Knowledge: Epidemiology analytical software such as Excel, Epi-Info, STATA or SPSS
Languages: Mission language essential
